In 2012 the iconic brand Ray-Ban celebrates it’s 75th anniversary. In the 1930s new aircrafts allowed people to fly higher and further, but many US Air Force pilots reported, that they got headaches by the glare of the sun. So, a new type of glasses with green lenses was created to protect pilots from the strong light, while maintaining a perfect view: The brand Ray-Ban was born. During the last seven and a half decades, Ray-Ban has shaped the cultural history decisively. James Dean, Audrey Hepburn or Michael Jackson – Ray-Bans have been essential for the idols of our time.
Ray-Ban celebrates it’s anniversary year in four different ways:

1. Limited Edition Book “Legends: Untold Stories”
