Yippieh – The festival season slowly takes off. Here we got a Shot of the band “The Rapture“. Lead singer Luke Jenner wearing Mykita’s “Cecile” at Coachella Festival, US. “Cecile” refers to the quintessential ”intellectual” glasses from the 1920s and 1930s: the panto form. It celebrated its first comeback in the late 1960s as an expression of opposition to the traditional, conservative lifestyle. For 2012 Mykita has launched a renaissance of the round/oval-shaped classic, and put up new colour combinations. If you want to see The Rapture performing, check out their international tour dates.
